Well, we made it through our first weekend with Beaux Duke…formerly spelled BO. I believe he has a bit of Great Dane mixed in with that Lab.
I work with Ms. Denny Edwards at EACC and she occasionally sends out desperate pleas for these animals we all love so much. Well, the most recent plea she sent was for this beautiful Labrador mix that was residing in her back yard. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful animal. I immediately contacted her and got the ball rolling. I took Bo home to my son and Chino that very day. We decided to change the spelling of his name to a statelier BEAUX and then of course adding Duke as his middle name. He is a bit clumsy and unaware of his size, but he is a very loving and already loyal dog. He has a bit of a mischievous side to him, but nothing that can’t be handled. I am sending you pictures of my Chino as well as my son Drew asleep in the backseat of my SUV with Beaux Duke by his side. Thank you so much for all the work you do for these great animals!!

I
adopted a dog three years ago from the Memphis Humane Society and
his name is Chino. He is a chow mix and a GREAT dog! Since my son
and I moved into our house a little over a year ago I have been
contemplating getting Chino a friend, but it would have to be a
special friend. Someone with a calm personality who loves children
and long early morning or late evening runs with me.
